In 1987, Shouguang Petroleum Machinery Accessories Co.,Ltd was founded, engaged in manufacturing and sales of petroleum machinery accessories etc.
1989
In 1989, Shouguang
Petroleum Machinery Accessories Co.,Ltd was renamed as
Shouguang Petroleum Machinery Co.,Ltd. At that time,
some casting, forging and mechanical machining had taken
shape and the machinery products were developed from
simple fittings to set products.
1994
Established Weifang Molong Industrial Company. Product range extended to well heads, Christmas trees, electric submersible pumps and full-set tools. A series of petroleum extraction machinery and related parts were developed.
2001
In
2001, Shandong Molong was structured to a public
company. The leading products were first granted to use
API monogram. Meanwhile, another industrial park was
built in Shouguang Development Zone, where casing,
tubing and high-strength sucker rod were mainly
manufactured and also the new pump unit saving energy
was developed successfully.

On April 15,2004,
Molong was listed on the GEM of Hong Kong Stock Exchange
with stock H as the first public company abroad among
the private companies in Weifang city, Shandong
Province.
2006.3.31
On
March 31,2006, the 250,000 tons hot-rolling seamless
line was successfully commissioned ,which is the first
relative nationalized line with 250,000 tons and above.
2007.2
In February of
2007, Molong was
successfully
listed on the
Main Board of
Hong Kong Stock
Exchange with
Stock Code 568,
as the first
company which is
transferred to
the Main Board
of 134 companies
listed on GEM of
Hong Kong
Exchange.

In September
of 2007, Molong
increased
49,250,000 of
stock H
collecting more
than 80,000,000
RMB which
farther fulfill
the expanding
needs of 250,000
OCTG line.
Currently, the
initial issue of
Stock A was
approved by all
the shareholders
and submitted
all the
application docs
to the CSRC. On
Dec.19, CSRC
officially
accepted
Molong’s
applications
docs for
consideration to
approve issue
